A Rochester man was taken to the hospital Friday morning after his vehicle collided with an American Medical Response ambulance, according to Rochester police.
The crash happened at about 5:54 a.m. near South Clinton Avenue and Woodbury Street.

Police said the ambulance was traveling east on Woodbury Street and the passenger vehicle was traveling north on South Clinton Avenue.
As the ambulance proceeded through the intersection, it struck the driver's side of the passenger vehicle, according to a preliminary investigation.
The 31-year-old Rochester man who was driving the passenger vehicle complained of upper body pain and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.
The ambulance crew was not injured.
No tickets issued
Both vehicles sustained
damage, and the passenger vehicle was towed from the scene.
Police said no tickets were issued.
