Two people were killed in a crash involving a utility terrain vehicle Saturday evening in Dannemora, Clinton County, according to New York State Police.
UTV crashes into tree
Emergency responders were called to Sunset Road in Dannemora just before 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, for a reported UTV crash, according to State Police.
Destiny Gay, 24, of West Chazy, was driving a two-seater UTV west on Sunset Road when she lost control and drove off the north shoulder, troopers said.
The UTV struck a tree and overturned.
2 killed in crash
Gay and her passenger, Robbie Grant, 54, of Hogansburg, Franklin County, were both pronounced dead at the scene, according to State Police.
Autopsies were scheduled for Monday.
Dannemora is in Clinton County in northeastern New York, about 10 miles northwest of
Plattsburgh and near the Canadian border.
State Police continue to investigate the crash.
