The Girl Scouts of Western New York have announced two new cookies coming in 2027: one for dogs and an allergy-friendly cookie for humans.
A dog treat called Patch Pals, developed with BARK, is a soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookie.
Girl Scout Sparkables is a crunchy oatmeal cookie studded with chocolate chips and dotted with colorful sprinkles. Developed with Partake, they are produced in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens: peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, wheat, milk, soy, fish, shellfish and sesame.
The cookie sales help fund experiences for Girl Scouts throughout the year. These may include outdoor adventures, travel opportunities, community service projects, STEM exploration and leadership development. The Girl Scouts say
the cookie sales help members develop skills like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics.
