The spotlight is on the Buffalo Bills' home opener and the first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium, but the matchup itself could be just as memorable.
Buffalo and Detroit both opened the season with high-scoring victories in Week 1 while showcasing explosive offenses led by quarterbacks Josh Allen and Jared Goff.
Allen accounted for four touchdowns in Buffalo's 36-31 win over Houston, while Detroit survived an overtime thriller against New Orleans. With both defenses showing vulnerabilities and two of the NFL's most dynamic offenses taking the field, all signs point to a prime-time shootout.
