Five people were taken to area hospitals after a two-vehicle crash Monday in the town of Ogden, with an 88-year-old Chili woman in critical condition, police said.
The Ogden Police Department responded to the crash at the intersection of Union Street and Stoney Point Road.
The woman was among five people transported for treatment. The other four patients suffered non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to be released, police said.
Crash under investigation
The crash remains under investigation by the Ogden Police Department.
Police said drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as factors. Failure to yield the right of way appears to be a primary contributing factor, police said.
