motorcyclist died Monday afternoon after rear-ending a pickup truck in Elma, Erie County.
Motorcycle rear-ends pickup
Michael P. Groh, 58, of Elma, was riding a motorcycle east on Clinton Street in Elma around 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, when he rear-ended an eastbound pickup truck, according to New York State Police.
The pickup was slowing because of traffic when the motorcycle struck it, police said.
Motorcyclist dies at scene
Emergency responders attempted life-saving measures at the scene, but Groh died, according to State Police.
Investigation continues
Troopers are investigating the fatal crash. Further details were not immediately available.
