Rochester real estate firm The Sharon Quataert Team with Century 21 Apex will celebrate its new offices in a grand opening and ribbon cutting on Oct. 1.
The firm relocated from its Greece headquarters in the summer to a new office on University Avenue. The new location, in a late-19th-century industrial brick building, is near other local businesses like Living Roots Winery, Full Moon Vista Bike and Sport and Metro Salon.
"After four decades of helping people buy and sell homes across this region, moving into a building with this much history felt right," said Sharon Quataert, founder of The Sharon Quataert Team, in a statement. "We wanted a space that reflects how we work, close to the neighborhoods we serve and open to anyone who wants to stop
in. This corner of University Ave has real energy, and we are glad to be part of it."
The firm said the new location gives it more space for client consultations, agent training and community events. It’s an eventful time for the firm, which announced its affiliation with Century 21 Apex earlier this year. The firm said the affiliation expanded its referral network, marketing tools and back-office systems.

The event at 1239 University Ave. is free and open to the public. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 4 p.m., followed by refreshments, tours and networking through 6 p.m.
