Margaritas Mexican Cantina has closed for good at at 2525 W. Ridge Road in Greece, the restaurant announced on social media on Sept. 29.
The restaurant opened in a former Ruby Tuesday in 2021; it was the first Rochester-area location for the restaurant that got its start in Syracuse's Armory Square. It had an extensive menu that included more than a dozen different margaritas.
In June, News10NBC reported seeing Department of Homeland Security agents removing plastic bags from the restaurant. The agency would not answer questions about its activity there. The restaurant closed temporarily but reopened in July, per its social media posts.
