The first of two Week 10 'Big Brother' Power of Veto competitions will take place tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Yash Patel, the Week 10 HOH, nominated Melody Morris, Barrett Pfeiffer and Drew Campbell for possible eviction during Sunday's episode.
The three nominees will get their first chance to remove themselves from the block and earn safety for the week during tonight's Power of Veto competition. If one of them wins, Yash will need to put up a replacement nominee as the group heads into the 10th live eviction on Thursday.
'Big Brother' has a twist for Week 10, however. During Thursday's two-hour live eviction episode, a second HOH competition, POV competition, and eviction will take place, sending two houseguests to the BB28 jury house this
week.
While many fans may already know who won the Power of Veto from the 'Big Brother' live feeds, those who aren't tuned in to the feeds will watch it all play out on tonight's episode.

When is the Power of Veto competition?

The Week 10 Power of Veto competition will air tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The three nominees and a few other houseguests will compete to win the Power of Veto.
If one of the nominees wins the Power of Veto, they can remove themself from the block, and then Yash, the current HOH, will have to put up a replacement nominee. If Yash or another houseguest that's not on the block wins the veto, they could decide to keep the current nominations as they are.
The Power of Veto competition is pre-filmed and many fans who watch the live streams closely may have already gotten an inside peek into how the competition played out, but those not tuned into the live feeds will see it air for the first time tonight.
When is the next live eviction?
The next live eviction will take place tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 17. Tomorrow's eviction won't be like others we've seen so far on Season 28 of 'Big Brother.'
The Week 10 two-hour live eviction episode will include a double eviction, where a second HOH and POV competition will be played after the first eviction, and a second vote will be held to evict a second houseguest.
