The Buffalo Bills are coming home to a new home.
The Bills will play the first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium when they host the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football in Week 2.
Buffalo opened the 2026 season with a 36-31 victory over the Houston Texans
and now gets only four days to prepare for its home opener. The Lions also are 1-0 after beating the New Orleans Saints 31-30 in overtime.The nationally televised game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, and gives Bills fans their first chance to see Josh Allen and Buffalo play a regular-season gameinside the new $2.2 billion stadium.
