Monroe County sheriff’s deputies have identified the woman who died in a crash at a busy Henrietta intersection Saturday night.
Multiple-vehicle crash in Henrietta
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Calkins and East Henrietta roads, according to deputies.
Faith Machado, 24, of Henrietta, died as a result of the crash, and several other people were injured, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Brendan Hurley said Monday. He did not say whether Machado was driving one of the vehicles involved or was a passenger.
“Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends as they mourn,” Hurley said in an email.
Details not released
Deputies did not release additional details about the fatal crash. The intersection was closed for several hours Saturday night.
The investigation remains ongoing.
