Starbucks’ new Halloween-themed drink has arrived in stores just 10 days before Halloween.
The Black Cat Frappuccino debuted nationwide Oct. 22, alongside a new bakery treat and black cat-themed merchandise for the spooky season.

What is the Black Cat Frappuccino?
The Starbucks Black Cat Frappuccino is a chocolate cake-flavored crème Frappuccino topped with whipped cream and small, cat-ear-shaped chocolate pieces.
Starbucks describes the drink as having a “rich cocoa flavor” with brownie-like notes. Food blog Delish compared its flavor to chocolate mousse or flourless cake, while Food Network likened it to a Brooklyn blackout cake, describing it as very sweet and rich.
Customers can modify or remove
the chocolate cat ears and whipped cream when ordering online. They can also change the type of milk used.
However, the drink is available only in a grande size, and additional sauces or espresso shots do not appear to be available as add-ons.
How many calories are in the Black Cat Frappuccino?
Starbucks says a grande Black Cat Frappuccino contains 430 calories, 60 grams of sugar and 18 grams of fat.

Does the Starbucks Black Cat Frappuccino have coffee?
The standard Black Cat Frappuccino does not contain coffee or espresso.
The ingredient list includes cocoa powder and chocolate, which may contain trace amounts of naturally occurring caffeine. However, Starbucks lists the drink as containing 0 milligrams of caffeine.
What else is included in the Starbucks Halloween drop?
Starbucks also released the Venti Black Night Cookie, a large, shareable black cocoa cookie featuring caramel fudge pieces and chunks of caramelized white chocolate.

Starbucks said the new items will be available at select participating coffee shops nationwide, but the company has not specified which locations will carry them.
Participating stores may begin listing the new items on their online menus a few days before the Oct. 22 release.
