Tre'Davious White is coming home. Again.
The Buffalo Bills are bringing back their former All-Pro cornerback for a third stint, signing White to the practice squad Monday.
The Bills announced the move a day after their 33-30 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, releasing cornerback A.J. Woods to make room.
White, 31, played his first seven NFL seasons in Buffalo after the Bills selected him with the 27th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
He became one of the league's top cornerbacks, earning first-team All-Pro honors in 2019 after tying for the NFL lead with six interceptions. He also made the Pro Bowl in 2019 and 2020 and was named a second-team All-Pro in 2020.
White has 19 career interceptions, all with Buffalo, where he has started all 98 regular-season
games he's played.
But injuries derailed his career in Buffalo.
White suffered a torn ACL in 2021 and a torn Achilles in 2023, leading the Bills to release him in March 2024.
He spent the 2024 season with the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens before returning to Buffalo on a one-year contract in April 2025.
White started 16 regular-season games for the Bills last season, initially winning the starting cornerback job after Maxwell Hairston began the season on injured reserve. He recorded 40 tackles, 10 passes defensed and one interception. He also started both playoff games.

White became a free agent after the season and remained unsigned until Monday.
But the possibility of another reunion had been on the table for months.
"We love Tre and we constantly keep contact with guys like Tre," Bills general manager Brandon Beane told the Democrat and Chronicle during training camp in August when asked about potentially bringing White back if injuries created a need at cornerback.
Beane pointed to the organization's history of reuniting with former players, including Jordan Poyer, Micah Hyde and Jordan Phillips.
"We love guys that have been here and have been stalwarts for this team," Beane said. "We've stayed in contact with him through the offseason and check on him."
Beane said having familiarity with a player can make a difference when considering potential additions.
"You're naturally going to lean to someone who you know has done it recently for you and had success," he said.
Now White is getting another opportunity with the franchise where he spent most of his NFL career.
The Bills improved to 5-1 with Sunday's win over the Raiders, but their secondary continues to struggle.

Las Vegas quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns, including a 44-yard scoring pass to Tre Tucker with 1:32 remaining that brought the Raiders within three points.
Buffalo also lost safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson to an ejection late in the first half after a spitting toward Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers.
The Bills have relied on a young group of cornerbacks that includes rookie Davison Igbinosun and Hairston alongside veteran Christian Benford.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that White turned down multiple opportunities to return to Buffalo before agreeing to Monday's deal. White's representatives expect him to be promoted to the active roster after getting time to prepare.
The Bills have a bye in Week 7 before hosting the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 1.
White's return gives Buffalo a familiar option as it tries to shore up its struggling secondary for the second half of the season.
