A new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Penfield is set to open next week, the store’s operators announced.
The newest Chick-fil-A in Monroe County will open Thursday, Oct. 29, at 2051 Fairport-Nine Mile Point Road, on the former site of the Gymnastics Training Center, which closed in 2022 after 35 years in business.
The 5,300-square-foot restaurant features a triple-lane drive-thru that encircles the building, an outdoor patio with seating for more than 20 people and indoor seating for 70. The restaurant also has a small indoor play area for children.
The Penfield location will be operated by Ian Smith.
What are the Penfield Chick-fil-A's hours?

The restaurant will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays.
Customers can order dine-in, drive-thru, carryout, delivery,
catering and mobile orders through the chain’s Mobile Thru service, according to a company news release.
As part of the opening celebration, customers who wear cow print on opening day can receive a free entrée or kids’ meal from a specified menu, while supplies last, Chick-fil-A said.
Where is the new Chick-fil-A in Penfield?
The newly constructed restaurant is next to the Penfield Pub and near the recently opened Jersey Mike’s Subs and Five Guys.
The location sits within Penfield’s limited business district. A new traffic signal was installed on Route 250 near the restaurant over the summer as part of the project.
Where else is Chick-fil-A opening in the Rochester area?
Chick-fil-A entered the Rochester market in 2018 with a location in Greece. Since then, the chain has expanded to Henrietta, Irondequoit, Rochester’s CityGate development and the town of Sweden near Brockport.
Another location is under construction at the southeast corner of the Eastview Mall property in Victor in Ontario County. That restaurant is expected to open in 2027.
