A motorist has been accused of driving drunk and striking two pedestrians crossing Bay Road in Penfield Wednesday afternoon, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The crash occurred on Bay Road near Terrel Drive just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. Two women were crossing Bay Road when they were struck by a northbound vehicle
, according to the Sheriff's Office.Both women were taken to an area hospital for treatment. Deputy Brendan Hurley said Thursday that one woman remains in critical condition and the other remains in stable condition.
Driver charged with felonies
The driver, Nicholas Decker, 36, of Webster, was charged with three felonies in connection with the crash:
- Two counts of aggravated vehicular assault
- One count of driving while intoxicated
Decker was arraigned in CAP Court and is being held in the Monroe County Jail on $50,000
cash bail or $450,000 bond, Hurley said.
