Construction has begun on a Chick-fil-A restaurant near Eastview Mall in Victor.
The 5,000-square-foot location at the southeast corner of the mall property on Route 96 will be the first stand-alone Chick-fil-A in Ontario County. A Chick-fil-A that is part of the Clifton Springs travel stop on the New York State Thruway opened in 2023.
Initial discussions between Victor town officials and representatives of the Atlanta-based fast-food chain began in early 2024.
The Victor restaurant will have two drive-through lanes and 65 parking spaces.
Chick-fil-A hours generally are 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday; closed on Sunday.

Currently, the chain has restaurants in Irondequoit, Henrietta and Greece.
A new location also is coming to 2051 Fairport
Nine Mile Point Road in Penfield.
Both the Victor and Penfield locations will open this year, but no dates have been announced.
