Rochester police are searching for three people accused of robbing a McDonald's by reaching through the drive-thru window, pushing an employee and stealing cash.
Suspect reached through drive-thru window, police say
The robbery happened just before 5 p.m. at the McDonald's at 788 Lake Ave., near Lexington Avenue, police said.
According to investigators, a silver Kia Forte entered the drive-thru, and the three people inside ordered food. When the vehicle pulled up to the payment window, one passenger got out and approached the window.
Police said the suspect reached through the drive-thru window, pushed an employee away from the cash register and stole cash.
Suspects fled in car
The suspect got back into the Kia Forte, and the group fled the scene, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Investigation ongoing
No arrests have been made, and the
investigation remains ongoing. Police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
