New York shoppers will soon have another Burlington location to visit.
The off-price retailer is opening a new store in the Rochester area on Oct. 30 as part of a nationwide expansion effort. The Rochester-area store is the only New York location among 12 Burlington stores scheduled to open this month.
The opening continues Burlington's growth in New York after the retailer added three stores in the state in September. Burlington now operates more than 1,000 locations across the United States, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico and is continuing to invest in expansion, including a 2 million-square-foot distribution center under construction near Phoenix that is expected to open in 2028.
The Rochester store is slated to open at Pittsford Plaza, a shopping
center located southeast of Rochester in Monroe County.

Before announcing its October openings, Burlington opened 20 stores nationwide in September, including three in New York.
