Your vote will determine who will be the Turf Masters Boys Sports Athlete of the Week for September 21-27. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Thursday.
The nominees are chosen by our sports reporters. If you would like to call attention to an athlete's performance to be considered for the nomination, please email sports@democratandchronicle.com. All athletes who play on Section V boys teams are eligible to be nominated.

Nolan Dickerman
Rush-Henrietta soccer player scored the golden goal in a 2-1 overtime win against Victor on Friday.
Elijah Doell
Mynderse soccer player
had a hand in eight of the Blue Devils’ nine goals in a 9-3 victory over Pal-Mac on Thursday. Doell finished the match with six goals and two assists.
Joey Hagen
Palmyra-Macedon golf team member shot the best or lowest nine-hole score in four matches, including a one-over par 37 at Lakeside Country Club. Hagen was three-over par twice at Sycamore and at Clifton Springs.
Trey Harpole
Churchville-Chili volleyball senior continued his dominant offensive start to the season with 31 kills against Brighton and 22 kills against Webster.
Desmond Hill
Marcus Whitman junior was the first-place finisher in the 5K small schools race at the John Izzo Cross Country Classic in Letchworth State Park. Hill crossed the finish line in 15 minutes, 46.5 seconds, 28 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
Joe Hohman
Fairport volleyball senior delivered 25 kills in a four-set win against Brighton. Also recorded five aces.
Aiden Howe
Keshequa soccer player totaled four goals in the Wildcats’ victory over Andover-Whitesville on Friday.
Griffin Kilminster
Irondequoit volleyball sophomore orchestrated the Eagles’ offense in a five-set win over Brighton, logging 45 assists.
Sean Metzler
Penfield senior won the 5K large schools race at the John Izzo Cross Country Classic in Letchworth State Park. Metzler finished the race in 15 minutes, 36.4 seconds, almost 16 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.
Liam Strathearn
Pavilion/York volleyball junior powered a four-set victory over Wilson with 17 kills, 19 digs and four aces. Recorded 13 kills and 11 digs three days prior against School of the Arts.
