Your vote will determine who will be the Turf Masters Boys Sports Athlete of the Week for September 7-13. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Thursday.
The nominees are chosen by our sports reporters. If you would like to call attention to an athlete's performance to be considered for the nomination, please email sports@democratandchronicle.com. All athletes who play on Section V boys teams are eligible to be nominated.

Brayden Arber
Bloomfield-Honeoye soccer player posted four goals in Thursday’s win against Midlakes, then had both goals in the team’s
win against Way-Co in Saturday.
Devon Britton
North Rose-Wolcott volleyball junior’s setting helped the Cougars to two victories. He posted 20 assists, six aces and three kills against Wilson/Early College before recording 11 assists against Wayne.
Connor Galloway
Spencerport volleyball senior led the Rangers with 12 kills in a win against Gates Chili before recording eight kills during a victory over Brighton.
Finn Halpin
Batavia soccer player dished out four assists and scored a goal in Wednesday’s shutout victory against Wheatland-Chili.
Trey Harpole
Churchville-Chili volleyball senior posted 23 kills and two aces in a four-set victory over Irondequoit. Recorded 11 kills and five digs in a win against Brockport two days later.
Kolton Knapp
Bloomfield senior shot a nine-hole score of 35, one-under par at BonaVista State, during a Finger Lakes league golf match. Knapp's score included two birdies.
JT Lawrence
Wayne soccer player secured sudden victory for the Eagles in overtime of Thursday’s match against Penn Yan.
Maddox Mannella
Naples senior shot a score of 36 during a Finger Lakes league match, one over par for nine holes at Reservoir Creek. Mannella scored birdies at back-to-back holes.
Gavyn Phillips
Livonia soccer player totaled three goals and two assists in the Bulldogs’ win over Arkport-Canaseraga on Tuesday, then had his team’s lone goal in Wednesday’s victory over Aquinas.
Trevor Scoppa
Fairport soccer player recorded a pair of goals in the Red Raiders’ overtime win against Pittsford Mendon on Monday.
