Trillium Health is celebrating the grand opening of a new health center on Jefferson Avenue.
“The Jefferson Avenue location is Trillium Health’s third medical site and reflects the organization’s mission to provide compassionate, judgment-free, and affordable care,” President and CEO of Trillium Health Jason Barnecut-Kearns said in a statement. “We are excited to join the Jefferson Avenue community, and we hope this location will make it easier for families to access the healthcare and supportive services they need closer to home.”
In 2025, Trillium Health became a federally qualified health center after winning a federal service area competition. As part of the award, the organization continues to expand healthcare access to serve more patients
throughout the Greater Rochester area.
The Health Resources and Services Administration has identified 14611 zip code as a medically underserved area. The new health center is located at 924 Jefferson Ave. and is expected to serve 3,500 additional patients, increasing Trillium Health’s reach to nearly 16,000 patients annually.
