The Buffalo Bills got a week to heal.
The Baltimore Ravens gave Lamar Jackson another week to do the same.
Jackson missed his third straight game Sunday because of an ankle injury, and Baltimore lost 35-13 to the Cincinnati Bengals without him.
Now the Ravens have to decide whether the extra time was enough to get their quarterback back for Buffalo.
The Bills come out of their Week 7 bye hoping to get wide receiver D.J. Moore and defensive tackle Ed Oliver back after both missed the previous two games.
Baltimore also picked up another injury Sunday when rookie guard Vega Ioane left because of a knee injury.
Buffalo (5-1) hosts Baltimore (4-3) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday, Nov. 1, at Highmark Stadium.
NFL teams have to submit a report on practice participation
on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for a Sunday game. A game status report is due by 4 p.m. Friday for Sunday games.
Here is the Bills vs. Ravens injury update for Week 8:
Buffalo Bills injury update for Week 8
D.J. Moore, WR, shoulder
D.J. Moore has not played since Oct. 4.
Moore missed Buffalo's final two games before the bye after aggravating the injury against the New England Patriots in Week 4.
He did not practice Wednesday or Thursday before the Raiders game but returned on a limited basis Friday and was listed as questionable. Buffalo ultimately kept him inactive.
Moore originally suffered the shoulder injury against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. He returned the following week and played through it before aggravating the injury against New England.
Ed Oliver, DL, knee
Ed Oliver also missed Buffalo's final two games before the bye.
Oliver suffered his knee injury during the Bills' Week 4 loss to New England when former Buffalo fullback Reggie Gilliam hit his left leg near the sideline.
He missed five consecutive practices before returning on a limited basis the Friday before the Raiders game.
Oliver was listed as questionable but inactive in Las Vegas.
Dalton Kincaid, TE, ribs
Dalton Kincaid left Buffalo's victory over Las Vegas because of a rib injury but was able to return.

The Bills listed him as questionable to return. Kincaid came back in the fourth quarter and caught a 14-yard pass three plays later.
Bradley Chubb, OLB, ribs
Bradley Chubb also left the Raiders game in Week 6 because of a rib injury and returned.

Joshua Palmer returned against Las Vegas after missing the Rams game because of a shoulder injury. He caught one pass for 37 yards against the Raiders.
C.J. Gardner-Johnson, S, suspended
C.J. Gardner-Johnson will not play against Baltimore. It's not because of injury.
The NFL suspended Gardner-Johnson without pay for one game after he spit at a Raiders player during the second quarter of Buffalo's Week 6 victory. Gardner-Johnson was ejected in the second quarter.
His suspension begins Oct. 26 and he can return to Buffalo's active roster Nov. 2, meaning he will miss Sunday's game against Baltimore.
