Lottery officials said a second-prize winning ticket for the Sept. 28 drawing was sold at Tops Friendly Markets at 9660 Transit Road in Amherst, Erie County.

The New York ticket was one of three second-prize winning tickets sold nationwide for Monday's drawing. The other tickets were sold in Illinois and North Carolina, according to the Powerball website.

The estimated Powerball jackpot now stands at $409 million, with a cash value of $170.2 million, according to the Powerball website. The next drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 30.
