The iconic Budweiser Clydesdales are headed back to New York.
As part of Budweiser's 150th anniversary celebration, the legendary horse team will visit the company's brewery in Baldwinsville this month, giving Central New Yorkers a chance to see one of the brand's most recognizable symbols in person.
The Clydesdales have been traveling across the country throughout the summer and are scheduled to continue making appearances through September.
When is the Budweiser Clydesdale parade in New York?
The family-friendly parade is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, in Baldwinsville.
The eight-horse hitch will depart from Anheuser-Busch's Baldwinsville Brewery at 2780 Brundage Road and travel through the village before concluding on Spensieri Avenue.
Following the parade, Anheuser-Busch will present a donation
in partnership with Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides educational support and scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and first responders.
About the Baldwinsville brewery
Anheuser-Busch opened its Baldwinsville brewery in 1983, making it one of the company's major production facilities in the Northeast.
In August, the brewer announced a $13 million investment in the Onondaga County plant. The funding will help expand production of Michelob ULTRA, add the fast-growing Cutwater canned cocktail brand to the brewery's lineup and upgrade canning and bottling equipment.
The investment is part of Anheuser-Busch's Brewing Futures initiative, a commitment to spend $600 million on improvements at its U.S. breweries in 2025 and 2026. Company officials say more than $100 million has been invested in the Baldwinsville brewery over the past five years.
