The Buffalo Bills are on the road Saturday for their second preseason game, taking on the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
Buffalo opened the preseason with a 29-14 victory over the Carolina Panthers and now gets another opportunity to evaluate roster battles and build momentum as the regular season draws closer.
Don't expect either team to use many, or perhaps any, of their starters because on Thursday, they conducted a productive joint practice at the Browns' facility in Berea, Ohio. In that session, first-stringer players went head-to-head in a controlled environment, and Buffalo coach Joe Brady and his counterpart, Todd Moncken, had agreed that if they got the work in they hoped - and by all accounts they did - they would
sit their top players.
