Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Landon Jackson left Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with an apparent right leg injury.
Jackson was injured with 2:29 left in the third quarter while rushing against Patriots left tackle Will Campbell. Jackson planted his right leg during the play and went down as Rhamondre Stevenson ran for 8 yards.
Jackson remained on his back after the play and took off his helmet. He then grabbed the helmet and slammed it against his left knee while appearing frustrated.
Bills athletic trainers tended to Jackson on the field before he eventually got up and limped to the sideline. He went into the blue medical tent for further evaluation.
Jackson's rookie season ended early in 2025 after he tore his MCL in Week 10
and was placed on injured reserve.
Jackson entered Sunday having appeared in three games this season with one start. He had seven tackles and one pass defensed.
Buffalo was already dealing with several injuries on defense. Ed Oliver was questionable to return with a knee injury, while Dee Alford was questionable with an ankle injury and Te'Cory Couch was doubtful with a hamstring injury.
