The Rochester Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 9-year-old Inea Mason-Brown, who police consider a runaway.
Police said the situation is concerning because of Mason-Brown's age. She turns 10 next month.
Mason-Brown is familiar with the public transportation system and can navigate it on her own, according to police. RTS has been notified and is assisting officers with the search.
What Inea Mason-Brown was wearing
Mason-Brown is approximately 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs between 70 and 90 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a black robe and navy blue bonnet.
Police said Mason-Brown has reportedly run away before and is familiar with navigating the Rochester area.
Police continue search
Rochester police said officers will continue searching around the clock until Mason-Brown is located.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Rochester Police Department.
