Banana Ball is coming to Rochester, with the Texas Tailgaters and Loco Beach Coconuts scheduled to play at ESL Ballpark on July 2 and 3, 2027.
The two-game stop was announced during the 2027 Banana Ball Selection Show, which aired nationally on ESPN2 and streamed on the official Banana Ball YouTube channel. The Rochester games will feature two of the six teams in the Banana Ball Championship League. Banana Ball was created by the Savannah Bananas.
The Texas Tailgaters feature a Texas-inspired atmosphere with country music and line dancing. The Loco Beach Coconuts have a tropical theme built around high-energy entertainment and showmanship.
Rochester Red Wings President CEO and COO Naomi Silver said the organization had been working to bring Banana
Ball to ESL Ballpark.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to provide this incredible entertainment experience to fans in 2027,” Silver said. “Rochester has been clamoring for the opportunity to see the outstanding Banana Ball performers, and we have worked for some time to bring them to ESL Ballpark. We are excited to make this happen and know it will be a huge hit for all.”
When is Banana Ball coming to Rochester?
The Texas Tailgaters and Loco Beach Coconuts will play at ESL Ballpark on July 2 and 3, 2027.
“We have been working on bringing Banana Ball to our community and our amazing fans for about four years, so we are incredibly excited to host these entertaining events at ESL Ballpark in 2027,” Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason said.
How can I get Banana Ball tickets in Rochester?
Fans who want individual tickets must enter the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery by 11:59 p.m. ET Oct. 31, 2026.
Entering the lottery does not guarantee an opportunity to buy tickets. A random drawing will determine which fans receive access, with purchasing instructions sent directly by Banana Ball to those selected.

Standard tickets begin at $35. Meet and Greet tickets begin at $125. Individual Banana Ball tickets are sold through the official lottery and Fans First ticketing platform.
Are suites available for Banana Ball at ESL Ballpark?
A limited number of 10-person and 16-person suites, along with larger hospitality areas, will be available for each game.
Those premium spaces will be sold directly by the Rochester Red Wings and are separate from the Banana Ball Ticket Lottery. Fans interested in additional information can complete the Banana Ball Suite Interest Form.
What is Banana Ball?
Banana Ball is a modified, fans-first version of baseball created by the Savannah Bananas. Its 11 rules distinguish it from traditional baseball.
Among the rules are a two-hour time limit, no walks and a scoring system that awards a point for winning each inning. A batter is also out if a fan cleanly catches a foul ball.
Games include choreographed celebrations, trick plays and fan participation.
