Josh Allen has added another reception to his career statistics.
This one wasn't quite as spectacular as the first two.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback completed a pass to himself during the first quarter against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday after his throw was deflected at the line of scrimmage.
Allen's pass on second-and-9 was knocked straight up in the air by defensive lineman Jamaree Caldwell. Allen caught the deflection above his head and gained 1 yard before Chargers defensive lineman Tuli Tuipulotu brought him down.
The play officially went down as a 1-yard completion from Josh Allen to Josh Allen.
It was only the third reception of Allen's NFL career. The other two went for touchdowns.

Allen's first career catch came in the Bills' AFC wild-card playoff game against the Houston Texans on Jan. 4, 2020. He pitched the ball to John Brown on a trick play, then caught Brown's pass for a 16-yard touchdown on Buffalo's opening drive.
His second came in much stranger fashion against the San Francisco 49ers on Dec. 1, 2024.
Allen completed a pass to Amari Cooper near the goal line before Cooper, surrounded by defenders, lateraled the ball back to Allen. The quarterback took the pitch into the end zone for a 7-yard touchdown.
Because the play began with Allen's forward pass, he was credited with both a touchdown pass and 7 receiving yards on the play.
