Injuries are part of every NFL training camp.
This tracker will follow the Bills’ injuries throughout training camp at St. John Fisher University, including players placed on the physically unable to perform or non-football injury lists, daily practice absences and updates from the team and head coach Joe Brady.
The page will be updated throughout training camp as injuries occur, players return to practice and roster designations change.

Buffalo Bills players on the PUP list
The physically unable to perform (PUP) list is used for players recovering from football-related injuries at the start of training camp. Players on the active/PUP list count against the 90-man roster and
may return to practice at any time once medically cleared.
Tyrell Shavers, WR
Injury: Torn ACL (January 2026)
Shavers was the only Bills player to miss the opening practice of training camp after being placed on the active/PUP list while recovering from the torn ACL he suffered during Buffalo's playoff win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
"Tyrell Shavers is PUP so he's the only one that won't be out there today," head coach Joe Brady said before practice. "There will be some guys that will be on a limited rep count."
General manager Brandon Beane said Shavers has impressed the organization with his rehabilitation but cautioned that he is not expected to be ready for the start of the regular season.
"I wouldn't project him to be able to start the season," Beane said. "We'll just keep ramping him up and when he's ready to go we'll see if we can get him out there."
Buffalo Bills players on the NFI list
None.
Limited participants
Terrel Bernard, LB
Injury: Right ankle
Bernard did not participate in team drills during the first practice of training camp as the Bills continue to bring him back from the ankle procedure he underwent in March.
"He's fine," Beane said. "We're just trying to ramp him up properly and make sure he's good to go. You guys will see him over the next week or so gradually go all the way back into doing that."
Dorian Williams, LB
Injury: Neck
Williams participated in practice but was held out of portions of team drills as the Bills continue managing his return following the neck injury he suffered during last season's playoffs.
Beane said Williams is following a similar progression to Bernard.
Fully practicing after injury
Michael Hoecht, DE
Injury: Torn Achilles
Hoecht participated in team drills on the opening day of training camp after tearing his Achilles last November.
"He's another one of those guys," Brady said. "He's going to be out there today taking team reps. He did an incredible job in his rehab. Some of it is holding him back from himself."
Beane said the Bills are intentionally limiting Hoecht's workload despite the veteran wanting to do more.
"Mike's one of those guys you've got to hold him back," Beane said. "He would practice every rep today if he could."
