The occupant of a home in the Ontario County town of Gorham and his dog were able to escape a fire without injuries Wednesday afternoon, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Gorham, Stanley, Hall, Middlesex and Rushville firefighters as well as deputies found the garage on fire, and flames had extended to the home on East Swamp Road, deputies said.
No cause of fire, which was reported at 12:54 p.m. Oct. 7, was released, but the Ontario County Fire Coordinators Office is investigating.
