The New York State Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to a series of lane reductions and road work projects scheduled across Rochester and Monroe, Ontario and Wyoming counties throughout September.

Lane reductions in Chili
To accommodate a pavement project, drivers can expect lane reductions on State Route 33, near Buffalo Road, between State Route 259, near Union Street, in Chili and Trabold Road in Gates. Roads will be reduced to a single lane, with alternating flows of traffic controlled by flaggers.
Work will begin at State Route 259 and move east. Here is the project schedule for September:
- Sept. 2, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sept. 3, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sept. 8, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sept. 10, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning
- Sept. 14-18, nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Lane reductions in Geneva
To accommodate a pavement project, drivers can expect lane reductions on State Route
14, from Snell Road in the City of Geneva to the Yates County line in the Town of Geneva. Lane reductions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, excluding Sundays, with alternating flows of traffic controlled by flagging personnel.
Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 11.
Overnight lane reductions in Canandaigua
To accommodate a pavement project, drivers can expect lane reductions on State Route 332 from North Street to Lakeshore Drive in Canandaigua. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, with alternating flows of traffic controlled by flagging personnel.
Overnight closures will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, excluding Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center concert nights.
Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 24.
Lane reductions in Genesee Falls
To accommodate a pavement project, drivers can expect lane reductions on State Route 19A from State Route 39 in Castile to State Route 436 in Genesee Falls. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, with alternating flows of traffic controlled by flagging personnel.
Lane reductions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and work will take place from Sept. 8-12.
