Police have identified the man shot to death Friday night on Garson Avenue in Rochester.
Man fatally shot on Garson Avenue
Rochester police officers were called to Garson Avenue for a report of a person shot in the street around 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18.
Responding officers found Michael Ellison, 40, of Rochester, who had been shot at least once in the upper body, according to Capt. Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department.
Ellison was pronounced dead at the scene, Umbrino said.
Was anyone arrested?
No arrests have been made, and no one has been charged in connection with the homicide.
