Local high school football teams will kick off the 2026 season next week. That means a new crop of players will soon make their names known across Section V.
Who will be the best football player in the upcoming Class C season? We’re asking fans to help answer that question.
Fourteen teams are slated to play in Class C this fall, which could change. They are Alexander/Pembroke, Bishop Kearney/Williamson, East Rochester/Gananda, Haverling, Hornell/Arkport-Canaseraga, Letchworth/Perry/Warsaw, LeRoy/Caledonia-Mumford, Marcus Whitman/Bloomfield, Midlakes, Livonia, Palmyra-Macedon, Sodus/Lyons, Waterloo and Wellsville/Genesee Valley-Belfast.
