OneRepublic is coming to Buffalo.

The pop-rock band will headline the first halftime show at the new Highmark Stadium when the Buffalo Bills host the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.

Fans watching from home will get to see at least some of it.

Prime Video will broadcast a portion of OneRepublic's performance during the nationally televised game, according to the Bills. The band will perform three or four songs and feature a light show that will turn the crowd into part of the production.

Every fan entering Highmark Stadium will receive a PixMob LED bracelet that will light up in synchronization with the halftime show.

The Bills and Lions kick off at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.

The band led by frontman Ryan Tedder has produced several pop-rock hits of the past two decades, including "Counting Stars," "Apologize," "I Ain't Worried," "I Lived" and "Secrets."

OneRepublic will perform from the Bills Legends Deck rather than the field, leaving Buffalo's newly replaced grass untouched by the halftime production.

Every fan will receive a PixMob LED bracelet before kickoff. The bracelets will light up in synchronization with OneRepublic's performance, creating a stadium-wide light show during halftime.

How long is halftime in an NFL game?

Halftime during a regular-season NFL game is 13 minutes.

The NFL rulebook calls for a 13-minute intermission between the second and third quarters. Play is suspended and teams may leave the field while the back judge keeps track of halftime.

The league's game-operations guidance says halftime is exactly 13 minutes unless the NFL has previously told the teams and referee otherwise.
