A 24-year-old Newark man died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck Saturday afternoon in Seneca Falls, police said.
The crash happened at about 1:24 p.m. at the intersection of County House and Bauer roads, according to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.
Police say pickup truck was making left turn
Police said Ian Clancy, 34, of Waterloo, was driving east on County House Road and was making a left turn onto Bauer Road when his pickup truck collided with a motorcycle operated by Maxwell Roeland, 24, of Newark.
Roeland was thrown from the motorcycle in the crash.
North Seneca Ambulance treated both drivers at the scene. Clancy suffered minor injuries and was not taken to a hospital.

Roeland suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital, where he later died,
police said.
The Seneca County Sheriff's Office and Seneca Falls Fire Department assisted at the scene, along with several good Samaritans.
The investigation remains ongoing.
