The Buffalo Bills could be without their top cornerback when the New England Patriots come to Orchard Park on Sunday.
The Patriots already know they’ll be without their top receiver.
Bills cornerback Christian Benford suffered a toe injury
during Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers and did not return. Head coach Joe Brady did not have an update after the game, but Benford was wearing a walking boot on his right foot after the game.The rest of Buffalo's injury news was more encouraging.
Wide receivers D.J. Moore and Keon Coleman and defensive lineman Ed Oliver all entered game against the Chargers listed as questionable but were active and played.
New England, meanwhile, will be without No. 1 wide receiver A.J. Brown, who remains on injured
reserve because of an ankle injury. The Patriots are already dealing with several significant injuries after playing without multiple starters in Sunday's 35-6 loss to Jacksonville.
Buffalo (3-0) hosts New England (1-2) at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Highmark Stadium.

Buffalo Bills injury update for Week 4
Christian Benford, CB, toe
Benford's status will be the biggest injury question for Buffalo entering the week.
The starting cornerback suffered a toe injury with 2:38 remaining in the third quarter against the Chargers. Benford was away from the tackle on a 5-yard run by Keaton Mitchell when he went down and received attention from Buffalo's training staff.
Benford eventually got to his feet and walked off under his own power. He bypassed the sideline and went directly to the locker room.
The Bills initially announced Benford was questionable to return before downgrading him to out during the fourth quarter. He wore a boot on his right foot after the game.
Igbinosun replaced Benford and broke up Justin Herbert's pass intended for Quentin Johnston on his first snap. He finished with six tackles and one pass breakup while playing an expanded role alongside Maxwell Hairston.

Moore made it through Sunday's game despite another brief scare involving his injured left shoulder.
Moore entered the game questionable because of the AC joint sprain he suffered against Detroit. He appeared to aggravate the injury following an 8-yard catch during Buffalo's final drive of the first half and was examined by the Bills' training staff on the sideline.
Moore returned and played the rest of the game, finishing with a team-high six receptions on 10 targets for 67 yards.
Keon Coleman, WR, ankle
Coleman was active against the Chargers after being listed as questionable because of an ankle injury.
He had a 37-yard reception to the 1-yard line to set up Josh Allen's touchdown run in the second quarter in the victory over the Chargers.
Ed Oliver, DL, hip
Oliver returned to Buffalo's lineup against Los Angeles after missing the victory over Detroit with a hip injury suffered during pregame warmups.
T.J. Sanders, DL, illness
T.J. Sanders remains out indefinitely after undergoing an appendectomy.
Sanders had surgery Sept. 22 after already missing Buffalo's first two games because of a knee injury. Brady did not provide a timetable for his return.

Jordan Hancock, DB, hamstring
Hancock was placed on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring injury during practice leading into the Chargers game.
Zane Durant, DL, neck
Durant remains on injured reserve because of the neck injury he suffered during the preseason.
Durant was required to miss at least the first four games of the season.
Buffalo Bills physically unable to perform
Tyrell Shavers, WR, knee
Shavers remains on the physically unable to perform list while recovering from the torn ACL he suffered during Buffalo's wild-card playoff victory last season.
Shavers must miss at least the first four games.
New England Patriots injury update for Week 4
The Patriots will already be without several players against Buffalo and added another injury concern during Sunday's loss to Jacksonville.
New England played without outside linebacker Dre'Mont Jones, safety Craig Woodson and tight end Eli Raridon against the Jaguars. Starting right guard Mike Onwenu and wide receiver A.J. Brown are already on injured reserve.
Then Greg Van Roten, who had replaced Onwenu in the starting lineup, suffered a thigh injury during the first half against Jacksonville and did not return.
Defensive tackle Christian Barmore and cornerback Carlton Davis III also briefly left Sunday's game but were able to return.

Brown will not play against the Bills.
The Patriots placed their No. 1 wide receiver on injured reserve after he suffered an ankle injury in the season opener against Seattle. Brown must miss at least four games after being placed on injured reserve.
Greg Van Roten, G, thigh
The Patriots could have another problem on an already depleted offensive line.
Van Roten suffered a thigh injury during the first half of Sunday's loss to Jacksonville and did not return.
He was making his first start of the season at right guard in place of Mike Onwenu, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering an ankle injury in Week 2.
Dre'Mont Jones, OLB, shoulder
Jones missed Sunday's game against Jacksonville because of a shoulder injury.
Jones suffered the injury while attempting to recover a fumble in Week 2 and did not return to that game.
He had a a sack and four quarterback hits in New England's season opener.
Craig Woodson, S, shoulder
Woodson missed the loss to Jacksonville because of a shoulder injury.
Woodson, a 2025 fourth-round pick, had 12 tackles through two games. He recorded 79 tackles and two fumble recoveries last season.
The Patriots have already lost safety Dell Pettus to injured reserve with an ankle injury.
Eli Raridon, TE, thigh
Raridon was inactive against Jacksonville because of a thigh injury he suffered in Week 2.
The rookie third-round pick has played a significant blocking role in New England's multiple-tight-end packages.
Christian Barmore, DT, shoulder
Barmore briefly left Sunday's game against Jacksonville because of a shoulder injury but was able to return.
Carlton Davis III, CB
Davis missed snaps against Jacksonville but returned to the game.
He had returned to the lineup after missing New England's Week 2 victory over Pittsburgh because of a neck injury.
