Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union will mark its expansion into east Georgia with grand opening celebrations at its new Waynesboro and Hephzibah branches next week.
The credit union will host a ribbon-cutting
ceremony and community celebration at 10 a.m. Aug. 24 at its Waynesboro branch, located at 855 Liberty St. A second grand opening event will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 25 at the Hephzibah branch, 2455 Highway 88.
Both events will feature ribbon cuttings, community check presentations, and remarks from credit union leadership. Expected participants include Palmetto Citizens President and CEO Robert Dozier, branch staff, local elected officials, chamber representatives, community leaders, and nonprofit partners.
The celebrations follow the Aug. 3 opening of former Southern Bank locations that now operate as Palmetto Citizens branches in Waynesboro, Hephzibah, Sardis and Gibson.
According to the credit union, the events will recognize its commitment to serving east Georgia communities through relationship-focused banking, local partnerships, and financial education initiatives.
