A developing low-pressure system moving through the Mid and Deep South could bring severe weather to parts of the region Saturday.
The main
threat expected with this system is strong, damaging wind gusts, especially where stronger thunderstorms develop.
Some hail is also possible, mainly farther west closer to the system's influence. Forecasters are also watching the potential for a tornado threat near the low-pressure center in parts of Tennessee and Kentucky, though that risk remains uncertain.
For Georgia, the main concerns are thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, lightning and gusty winds.

- Wednesday: Storm chances remain; high near 85
Central Georgia could see some of the warmer temperatures Saturday before storms become more widespread.
Macon:
- Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms likely; high near 94 degrees with a 70% chance of rain

- Tuesday: Chance of thunderstorms; high near 90
