Sunday is the final day of Arts in the Heart of Augusta at the Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
The festival is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at its temporary location on Hale Street. Visitors can expect international food and performances, original art, and family activities. The festival moved from downtown Augusta because of ongoing road construction.
Where to park Sunday
Parking at the fairgrounds is limited. Additional parking is available at:
- Craig Houghton Elementary, in the lot behind the school
- The old jail lot at 401 Walton Way
Parking is not allowed on Fourth Street between Laney Walker Boulevard and Hale Street.
Free festival transportation
The Greater Augusta Arts Council and Augusta Public Transit are offering free bus rides between downtown and the fairgrounds on Sunday.
Two festival buses are scheduled
to run every 30 minutes. Marked pickup locations will operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

- Richmond County Board of Education parking deck

Tickets and festival entry
Tickets cost $20 at the gate. Children 10 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult.
The fairgrounds have two ticket gates, compared with six last year. Signs and maps will help visitors navigate the smaller site.
What visitors can find
The Global Village features food and cultural presentations representing 20 countries. Nigeria and Ghana joined the festival this year.
Performances are being presented on the Soul & Jazz Stage, Community Stage, Global Stage and Literary Lounge Stage.
About 40 artists and crafters are selling original work. The Family Area includes hands-on art, live entertainment, puppet shows and the Young Artists Market for students from kindergarten through high school.
