More than 610 vehicles brought sensitive paperwork to SRP Federal Credit Union’s Administrative Campus for secure destruction during Shred Fest on Oct. 17.
Two mobile shred trucks from Augusta Data Storage destroyed 17,420 pounds of documents, according to a community announcement. The material included confidential documents, personal records and unsolicited mail.

SRP employees from branches and departments greeted guests, directed traffic and loaded bins with paperwork.
“Shred Fest is a great example of how our community comes together to protect personal information and support environmental stewardship,” said Josh Rhoden, marketing and communications manager at SRP
Federal Credit Union.
The event provided secure document disposal aimed at protecting residents from identity theft while promoting recycling.
SRP, headquartered in North Augusta, serves more than 200,000 members across 10 counties in Georgia and South Carolina.
