A holiday-themed musical parody inspired by Hallmark-style movies is set to stop in Augusta later this year as part of a U.S. tour.
"The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical" will be performed at the
Miller Theater, 708 Broad St., on Nov. 30, according to a news release. The production, presented by Paquin Exhibition & Theatrical, debuted to a sold-out world premiere audience in December 2025 and is now touring the country.
The immersive Broadway-style show follows Holly, an overworked city executive who returns to her hometown to help run her family’s business. Along the way, she reconnects with an old flame who is now the town sheriff and becomes entangled in a cookie contest cheating scandal involving a runaway moose.
The musical features original pop songs, including “Judge That Cookie” and “It Feels Like Christmas (Because It Is Literally Christmas),” while poking fun at familiar holiday movie tropes. Organizers said the show is designed for holiday movie fans, romantics and anyone looking for festive entertainment.
