Fall Greek Festival
What: The annual fall festival is an annual four-day cultural celebration hosted by the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in downtown Augusta
Where & When: Friday-Sunday at the church at 953 Telfair St., Augusta from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6
p.m. on Sunday.
Details: The festival features authentic Greek cuisine and pastries, live music, Greek dancing, a vendor market, church tours, and more. Admission is free. For more information and menu, visit www.holytrinityaugusta.org/greek-festival.
37th Annual Oliver Hardy Festival
What: The annual festival honoring Oliver Hardy, the larger half of the iconic duo Laurel and Hardy, a comedy duo that was famous for silent, and later sound, films. Hardy was born in Harlem in 1892.
Where & When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in downtown Harlem.
Details: The annual parade begins at 10 a.m. There will be live entertainment, food and craft vendors, classic movie screenings, and Laurel and Hardy memorabilia displays. Shop at the Evans Market
What: Weekly open-air market in the Evans Towne Center.
Where & When: The market is located at 1005 Market Street and is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Details: Shoppers will find fresh produce, artisan goods, and plenty of food vendors and live entertainment. There's no admission charge.

Sawyer Brown performs live
What: Country music star Sawyer Brown performs live.
Where & When: Evans Towne Center Park at 7016 Evans Town Center Blvd. The show is Friday, Oct. 2. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.
Details: Sawyer Brown is known for his high-energy shows and for songs like "Some Girls Do," "Step That Step," and "Thank God for You." Tickets are available at gotickets.com.
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
What: The Augusta Players present "Beautiful - The Carole King Musical."
Where & When: The Imperial Theatre at 749 Broad St. in downtown Augusta at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Details: The program follows the journey of Carole King, featuring hits like "You've Got A Friend" and "Natural Woman." For tickets, visit www.augustaplayers.org.
