Wellstar will welcome the community to explore the new Wellstar Columbia County Medical Center during an open house event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, ahead of the facility’s official opening on Aug.

Community members, neighbors, advocates, Wellstar team members and their families can take self-guided tours of key patient areas, learn about the medical center’s services and expected community impact, and enjoy family-friendly activities and refreshments.
The event will include remarks from Wellstar leaders, face painting, an appearance by Dr. WellBee, Wellstar’s official mascot, and food and beverage stations featuring coffee, fruit and pastries.
The new medical center is located at 5000 Gateway Blvd., Grovetown.
