Three students from the Augusta area have been named to Junior Achievement of Georgia's 2026-27 Nineteen Under Nineteen: Students to Watch list, a statewide recognition program honoring young people for leadership, innovation and community impact.
The local honorees are David Evans of Cross Creek High School, Caycee Hill of Greenbrier Middle School and Iris Holberton of Columbia Virtual Academy. Junior Achievement said the students were recognized for achievements in areas including entrepreneurship, academics, service, leadership and creative pursuits.
Now in its third year, the program recognizes 19 students from across Georgia who are making a difference in their schools and
communities. Honorees range from middle school students to recent high school graduates and have participated in Junior Achievement programs including JA BizTown, JA Finance Park, 3DE by Junior Achievement and JA Summer Camp.
Each student selected for the program receives a scholarship to support educational or entrepreneurial goals and will be recognized during the JA Greater Augusta Business Hall of Fame on March 16.
