The Pinnacle Club has named Chef Alex Brown as its new chef de cuisine, bringing a culinary leader with two decades of experience in private clubs, luxury hotels, and catering operations to the downtown Augusta venue.
Brown, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, will oversee the club’s culinary operations, guide menu development, and work with the hospitality team to enhance dining experiences for members and guests.

During his career, Brown has held leadership roles at several prominent clubs, including Naples National Golf Club, Marco Island Yacht Club and Benzene Country Club. His experience includes creating seasonal menus, refining culinary
programs, and developing hospitality-focused kitchen teams.
“Joining The Pinnacle Club isn't just a milestone; it’s the moment a chef stops chasing excellence and starts defining it,” Brown said in a statement.
The club said members and guests can expect to see Brown’s culinary vision reflected in new dining offerings beginning in mid-September.
Located atop the Lamar Building at 699 Broad St., The Pinnacle Club has been a fixture of Augusta’s business and social community since 1967. The private club is now managed by Edgar’s Hospitality Group, whose restaurants, venues and hospitality businesses support educational programs at Helms College through Goodwill Industries.
