Richmond County authorities arrested two South Carolina residents early Sunday in connection with the Sept. 25 killing of Alexandra Alston.
Osiel Delgadillo Noriega, 36, is charged with murder and auto theft. Sully Delgadillo, 39, is charged with hindering the apprehension of a fugitive and auto theft, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office. The pair were arrested about 2 a.m. at the Interstate 20 Georgia Welcome Center.
Authorities sought the couple for their alleged connection to the murder on the 1900 block of Watkins Street. In a previously released wanted notice, authorities said Noriega may have been soliciting work door-to-door in the Harrisburg area.
