The Augusta Lamplighters will hold its second annual golf tournament on Oct. 3 at Applewood Golf Course in Keysville to raise money for scholarships and youth development programs.
The event begins at 8 a.m. at 6130 Story Mill Road, according to a community announcement. Tournament proceeds will support the Lamplighters of Augusta Scholarship Fund and community engagement activities focused on young men.
Teams will compete for cash prizes, with $400 awarded for first place, $300 for second and $200 for third. Organizers also plan raffles and prize giveaways during the event.
The cost is $400 per team of four. Businesses and community supporters can participate through a $350
hole-and-banner sponsorship.
The Lamplighters of Augusta provide mentorship, educational opportunities, leadership development and community involvement experiences for young men, according to the announcement.
