The Nashville Predators host the St. Louis Blues at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 17 (7 p.m. CT, The Spot Nashville 28).
The Predators have lost three straight games, most recently a 3-2 shootout loss to the San Jose Sharks on Oct. 15. Steven Stamkos scored with one second remaining in regulation to salvage a point, but Macklin Celebrini scored the only shootout goal, handing the Sharks their second straight victory over the Predators.
Nashville (2-2-3, 7 points) remain in seventh place in the Central Division, one point ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Blues (3-3-1, 7 points) lost 5-4 to the Minnesota Wild on Oct. 15. Mason McTavish, who was traded to St. Louis from the Anaheim Ducks this summer, leads the Blues with five goals, three assists.
The goaltending matchup is unclear. Juuse Saros has started all but one game for the Predators, but Justus Annunen was elevated off the injured reserve list on Oct. 15. Annunen could get his first start for Nashville with Saros as backup.
The Blues will either go with Jordan Binnington or Joel Hofer in net.
