The big one in the NASCAR Talladega race, which affected multiple NASCAR Chase drivers, came in Stage 2 when Ryan Blaney tried to make it to the top of the track as Joey Logano blocked him.
That forced Blaney into the back of Bubba Wallace and a total of 12 cars ended up being involved in the crash in the YellaWood 500 on Oct. 25 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Blaney and Wallace were the drivers in the NASCAR Chase involved, along with Denny Hamlin, Tyler Reddick, Ty Gibbs, Chase Elliott and Daniel Suarez.
Other drivers involved included Ross Chastain, Noah Gragson, Chase Elliott, John Hunter Nemechek and Ryan Preece.
It happened with just five laps left in Stage 2.
Logano took the lead on the restart, followed by Kyle Larson and Austin Cindric. Logano went on to win the stage over Larson.
